Sun Country TMG (The Master Genealogist) Users Group (SCTMG) are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM until noon at the West Valley Genealogy Society Library, 1222 North 111th Avenue, Youngtown, AZ 85363. The meetings are geared to all levels of users and guests are welcome. |

Wholly Genes, Inc., of Columbia, Maryland, is proud to announce the 2008 Genealogy Conference and Cruise, the largest family history conference on the seas. This year's event will include at least 16 hours of expert presentations on genealogy methodology and tools. The Arizona State Genealogical Society is sponsoring an all day seminar featuring John Philip Colleta, Ph.D. The Seminar will be held at the Christ Church United Methodist Fellowship Hall, 655 N. Craycroft Road in Tucson, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration starting at 8:30. His topics will be: “How to Prepare for Successful Research in European Records”, “Lesser-Used Federal Records: A Sampling for Fresh Research Ideas”, “Using Original and Derivative Sources: How to Evaluate Evidence”, “Hacks and Hookers & Putting Up Pickles: Snares of Yesterday's English”.
